Bendigo Art Gallery

The Bendigo Art Gallery was established in 1887 in the former home of Bendigo Volunteer Rifle. A highly regarded local architect W. C. Valhand oversaw the renovation of the former orderly room to make way for years of showcasing artist’s work. After the initial transformation, an addition to the gallery was added which resembles the Tate Gallery of London, and now a new contemporary wing.

Bendigo Tramways

Opened in 1991, the Golden Dragon Museum aims to collect, preserve and care for materials of historical significance to the Chinese community, particularly items relevant to the gold fields region of Victoria.
