Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden

Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden has been developed on a 13 hectare natural amphitheater. It includes some 22,000 select rhododendrons and companion plants in a unique landscape concept. A central hybrid area is surrounded by a series of areas designed to represent the flora of the regions from which the wild species rhododendrons originate.

Opens daily 10.00am to 4.00pm from 1st August to end of February (Christmas Day excepted). A tearoom opens every day during October & November (peak flowering season), and on Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays during other opening months. Weekend openings are arranged during autumn to view the brilliant autumn colour from deciduous trees, as well as vireya rhododendrons.

Creative Paper Mill

Discover the ancient craft of paper making at the traditional Creative Paper Mill. Visitors will not only see how paper is made, but will have the opportunity to make a sheet for themselves. A gallery displays paper art and craft including unusual paper people sculptures.
