Taylors Wines,
Vineyard Tour
The Taylor
family established their vineyard and winery at Auburn
in the Clare Valley in 1969. The site was carefully
chosen for the red brown loam over limestone soils and
the cool climate of the Clare Valley. The initial planting
consisted of 178 hectares of which 149 hectares were
Cabernet Sauvignon.Today the vineyard has grown to 320
hectares, with the addition of three white varieties
- Riesling, Chardonnay and Crouchen - and two red varieties
- Shiraz and Pinot Noir.

Medika Gallery
Brooks Lookout
was opened in 2001 and gives visitors to the Clare Valley
the opportunity to picnic at one of the big Australian
panoramas. Sited 400 metres above the patchwork of wheatfield’s
of the Blyth and Wakefield Plains, you can see 90 kilometres
to the southwest to Yorke Peninsula.

Urlwin Park
Agricultural Museum is one of two site operated by Balaklava
Museum Inc. Opened in 1986, Urlwin Park houses a collection
