The Magic Cottage

The Magic Cottage is a home/business and comprises of three distinct attractions- A Rainforest Garden featuring many of Western Tasmania's unique flora. An Artist's Studio/Gallery, where paintings are available for sale. Visitors can also see a painting in progress and talk to the artist. It is a Historic Cottage with one room (The Captain's Time Capsule), open for visitors to view. This room is set up as if a ship's captain of 100 years ago is still living there.

Wee Georgie Wood Steam Railway

Explore Wee Georgie Wood that was once the prime source of motive power for the tramway between Tullah and Farrell between 1921 and 1962. The rising waters of Lake Rosebery inundated most of the original tramway route. However, in the 1980s Wee Georgie was rescued and restored to full running order by a group of local enthusiasts and volunteers.

Home Hill

Home Hill was the home of a former Prime Minister, Joseph Lyons P.C. C. H. and Dame Enid Lyons. The House was built by them in 1916, one year after their marriage, and except for a period of five years it remained their home for the rest of their lives. The house and grounds are now owned by the City of Devonport and the contents by the National Trust.

The Devonport Regional Gallery is managed by the Development and Community Services Department it is an educational, interpretive, tourist centre in Devonport, Tasmania.
