Travelling Film Festival

14 - 16 September

The Travelling Film Festival was established in 1998 and has grown to consist of 9 venues throughout the year which include Geelong, Frankston, Echuca, Shepparton, Launceston, Devonport, Mount Gambier. The festival consists of 8 films screened over 3 consecutive days. Some have screened at Melbourne International Film Festival, all have received critical acclaim on the International Festival circuit.

Spring Racing Carnival-Horse Racing

The Spring Racing Carnival is a wonderful annual event that has come to play a very important part in the Victorian story. What started as a makeshift race in the mid-nineteenth century is now arguably the greatest racing carnival in the world – and its impact on Victoria's social and economic fabric is tremendous.

Enjoy this weekend of fun -recreating the atmosphere of the bustling, boisterous Port of Echuca! Experience magnificent steam engines, vintage cars, tractors and horse-drawn wagons. Fun for all with old fashioned family activities and demonstrations! Marvel at the sail past of the world's largest fleet of paddle steamers and fireworks spectacular.
