Kyabram Fauna Park

Located in the Goulburn Valley of northern Victoria, the Kyabram Fauna Park covers some 55 hectares of open woodland, wetlands and lakes. Rehabilitation of degraded lands and re-vegetation programs for many areas of the Park have provided habitats that now attract over 140 species of native birds, animals and amphibians. Add 105 species of Australian animals, birds and reptiles, which form part of the Park’s permanent exhibits, and you have an outstanding and unique community project.

Echuca Historical Museum

The historical collection (Circa 1867 - 1969) is housed in the former Police Station and Cell complex and comprises an extensive quantity of textiles, folders, boxes and files of photography and documents, wooden, leather and metal objects and river boat, rail, economic and family memorabilia and objects, much of which dates from the earlier portion of the above era and portrays much of the lifestyle of our early residents.

Whroo Historic Reserve

Whroo Historic Reserve consists of almost 500 hectares of forested land encompassing the site of the Whroo township and part of the associated Whroo goldfields. HeritageAlluvial gold was found at the present sites of Rushworth and Whroo in August 1853 and the resultant gold-rush brought thousands of hopeful diggers to the area overnight. As the more easily won surface gold petered out and reef mining activity intensified, the Whroo area assumed the character it was to maintain for many years.
