Short Street Gallery

Short St. Gallery is a small gallery located in the heart of Chinatown in Broome. It is an old building (over 100 years) and is the last remaining house with a wind tunnel. It is an important part of the Aboriginal, Malay & Japanese history in Broome. The gallery seeks to educate and proudly show the stylistic diversity of the different cultures which make up the Kimberley and Australia.

Tunnel Creek National Park

The Reserve is a popular day trip offering visitors a great picnic spot with a unique backdrop of granite rock which is surrounded by regrowth woodland.There is also a dam and catchment wall. This supplied water to the steam driven engines on the narrow gauge railways bringing timber to Kalgoorlie-Boulder in the late 1920s.
