Summer times (17 September 2005 - 26 March 2006): Friday Nights 7 pm - 11 pm, Saturday 11 am - 11 pm, Sunday 11 am - 6 pm. Winter times (27 March 2006 - 15 September 2006): Saturday 11 am - 6 pm; Sunday 11 am - 6 pm. Special times on public holidays.

Queen Victoria Market

The Queen Victoria Market is the largest open-air market in the Southern Hemisphere where

 it is the center for trade and commerce, as well as a popular venue for visitors. Visitors, who

come not only to shop, can also be entertained by buskers who perform on the surround.

Getting Here:

Bus: Alight on Queen Street, Lonsdale or La Trobe at the Queen or Elizabeth street corners and walk north to the market. Train: The market is within walking distance of Melbourne Central Station (Elizabeth Street exit), and Flagstaff station, (corner La Trobe and Williams streets). Tram: Catch any tram heading north towards along Elizabeth and William Streets, and alight either at the Franklin or Victoria Street Corners.

and dangerous - coastlines in Victoria. It is here that the awesome rock formations, The Twelve Apostles, can be seen from the stunning Great Ocean Road.

Phillip Island (Penguin Parade)

Located on Phillip Island, the Penguin Parade is only 140km south-east of Melbourne which is

part of Phillip Island Nature Park. The park is designed and reserved to protect and promote awareness of Little Penguins (previously called Fairy Penguins). The best time to visit is at sunset/dusk if you wish to see the actual "penguin parade" where visitors can actually witness

the penguins cross Summerland Beach to return to their sand-dune burrows. This "parade" can

be experienced from environmentally friendly observation boardwalks and viewing stands.

By Public Transport: For enquires please contact V-line (phone 136196 from Victoria). Once on Phillip Island, hire a car, and take a tour or hire a push bike       to get around.


Rialto Towers

Rialto Towers is the tallest reinforced concrete structure in the Southern Hemisphere and is

well known for its unique design and glass facade. Views from Level 55 Observation Deck are nothing short of breathtaking!
