Phillip Island (Penguin
Parade)
Located
on Phillip Island, the Penguin Parade is only 140km
south-east of Melbourne which is
part of
Phillip Island Nature Park. The park is designed and
reserved to protect and promote awareness of Little
Penguins (previously called Fairy Penguins). The best
time to visit is at sunset/dusk if you wish to see the
actual "penguin parade" where visitors can actually
witness
the penguins
cross Summerland Beach to return to their sand-dune
burrows. This "parade" can
be experienced
