There are plenty of beaches around the town to choose from: Flynn's Beach, Lighthouse Beach, Nobby's Beach, Oxley Beach, Rocky Beach, Shelly Beach and Town Beach, just to name a few. Many come with BBQ facilities and are patrolled duriing the high season.

Surfing

There are a number of good surfing spots around Port Macquarie, or within easy reach of it (Bonny Hills, Dunbogan or North Haven).
