The Painted House (Gemaltes
Haus)
This infamous
building with its painted facade depicting the gods of
Greek-Roman mythology such as Apollo & Jupiter remains one of
Austria's biggest, most spectacular attractions. The frescoes
were painted in the 18th century by a Baroque artist named
Johann Mayer.

Schlossberg & The Clock
Tower
This hill overlooking
Graz rises above 1550 feet high and is covered with lush green
trees that look spectacular from afar during the warmer seasons.
On the slopes of the hill, The Clock Tower stands magnificently
overlooking the city. You can choose to climb the winding stairs
to the top to enjoy the spectacular view of the whole city or
you can join one of the many guided tours available.

This famous attraction
showcases geological, botanical & zoological wonders at the old
Joanneum building, while the new Joanneum building and the New

Mausoleum of Emperor
Ferdinand II
One of Graz's most remarkable
buildings begun in 1614 and was completed in 1638 and is the
final resting place of the emperor. The
vault is dominated by an impressive sarcophagus of red marble.
It is the final resting place of Ferdinand's mother, Maria of
Bavaria.
