Triumphal Arch
Dominates downtown Innsbruck. It separates the main street into
Marie-Theresien-Strasse to the north and Leopoldstrasse to the south. Built in the fashion of the Roman arches,
it commemorates the wedding of the Duke of Tuscany and also serves as a memorial to the Emperor Francis I.

Saint Anna’s Column
Erected to commemorate the withdrawal of Bavarian forces during the
war of Spanish Succession in 1703, this column is surmounted by a statue of the Virgin Mary and incorporates several
sculptures of Christian figures closer to the base.

presents displays and works by artists past and present, to show you crystal glass as you have never seen it before.

Tyrol
Folk Arts Museum (Tiroler Volkskunstmuseum)
Located within a historic abbey, this museum is dedicated to the
popular arts and crafts of the local people of Tyrol, with displays of costume, furniture and religious items.

St Jacob's Cathedral (Dom zu St. Jakob)
The cathedral features a roof of domes and was built and decorated in
the baroque style. The altar dazzles with gilt while the walls and ceilings are lined with impressive frescoes.

Golden Roof Maximilianeum
Built in commemoration of a Royal Wedding in the 16th Century,
the Golden Roof attracts visitors with (you guessed it) its gold plated tile roof. A museum dedicated to the Emperor Maximilian, for
whom the building is named, is located on the second floor.

Alpenzoo
Worth a visit for its view of Innsbruck and the mountains all around the area.
It only houses alpine animals, especially the various mammals who live in the alps.
