The Tux Mill

This piece of mountain peasant history goes back all the way to 1839 where in the earlier days, barley grew well even at such heights and farmsteads had to be self-sufficient.

Mehlerhaus

Built in the 17th century, this traditional house from the peasant days has been restored by the District of Tux with help from the local residents & converted into a cultural centre and a small museum.

The Devils' Bridge

Built in 1876, this bridge is a rare example of Tyrolean timber construction work, spanning over a narrow, deep gorge, where the Tuxer river flows. There are plenty of breathtaking natural scenery available around the bridge, such as trees aged undreds of years old.

Tux Waterfalls

This majestic force of nature is surrounded by deep rock basins, natural stone bridges, caves and natural gorges, enthralling visitors without fail. If you go up by cable car you can see the bottom-most waterfall, the `Kesselfall', at the lower station.
