This tall medieval structure was
once home to the city’s treasury, a testament to the great wealth and
influence that the city once held. It boasts a 47 bell carillon. You can
take a 366 step walk up the staircase to enjoy a great view of the
surrounding countryside and even the sea.

The Liberty of Brugge
This building served as
an administrative center in the medieval and renaissance period. The
highlights are an elaborately decorated fireplace commemorating Emperor
Charles V, and the armour collection of several rulers of Flanders
Charles, Maximilian of Austria and Ferdinand II of Aragon.

The Church of Our Lady
Features one of the
sculptures of the Madonna and Child, by Michelangelo. The tombs of this
medieval church, built in the 13th-15th Centuries, are exceptional works
of art.
