Bus, Train and Taxi from Brussels' Airport to the city.

Brussels Airport Transfer
Brussels Airport, Zaverntern — located approximately 14 km from the city centre.
Airport Buses — Bus Lines to Amsterdam:
Bus station is located below the arrivals hall. One way ticket costs EUR 3. The bus operates from 7 am to 8 pm. The bus makes five stops — NATO HQ, Germinal, Geneve, Diamant and terminating at Schuman.
Airport Trains — Airport City Express operates from 6 am to nearly midnight. Fares are EUR 2.60 for second class and EUR 3.90 for first class. The station is located at the basement (Level —1) of the terminal. Direct trains to the West and South are also available.
Intercity Trains — the Thalys high speed train runs between Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam. A separate branch goes to Cologne, where you can connect with the ICE train to several German cities.
Taxis — Take a taxi from the ranks located outside the arrivals hall. The legitimate cabs can be identified by their yellow and blue license tags. Fares range from EUR 30 — 35. Look out for taxis with orange stickers and a white aeroplane — these offer discounted rates.
