10-day's celebration with screenings of over 160 films, along with a film forum, a new media event, an art exhibition and a movie workshop. 

Tartan Parade & Victoria Highland Games

12 May (Parade) & 19 - 20 May (Games)

A celebration of the Scottish culture starting with a parade from the Legislative grounds right up to Centennial Square, and a mini festival which includes a variety of entertainment Scottish-style, followed by a games competition the following weekend.

Island Farms Victoria  Day Parade

21 May

Victoria largest parade event, with over 150 entries – marching bands, floats, clowns etc. Over 120,000 spectators watch this popular annual event in person and on television. Fun for the whole family.

Selkirk Waterfront Festival

2 June

A day of fun on the waterfront, which includes rowing races, dragon boat tours, performances, art displays, a family funfair, and loads of food, fun & activities for all!

JazzFest International

22 June - 1 July

Featuring over 275 regional, national and international jazz musicians, this festival runs for 10 days at over 12 indoor and outdoor venues in downtown Victoria. 

Victoria Dragon Boat Festival

17 - 19 August

Held at the Inner Harbour, this ancient tradition of dragon boat races promises plenty of excitement for thewhole family.

Island Farms Santa  Light Parade

17 November

This spectacular parade features over 50 entries made of coloured lights, attended by thousands each year.
