Manitoba Museum

This museum contains galleries showcasing local history, culture, geology and natural history with life-size exhibits of various specimens such as a prehistoric creatures and pronghorn antelope.

Manitoba Planetarium & Science Gallery

Part of the Manitoba Museum, this planetarium has a 280-seat Star Theatre with shows on everything from cosmic catastrophes to the UFOs. The hands-on Science Gallery contains nearly a hundred interactive exhibits covering the many aspects of science.

Victoria Day to Labour Day: Daily 10am-6pm; rest of the year Tue-Fri 10am-4pm, Sat-Sun and holidays 11am-4pm.

Fort Whyte Centre

This award-winning nature centre contains hiking trails, family treehouse, bird feeding stations, floating boardwalks, tipi encampment, Aquarium of the Prairies and waterfowl in their native pond habitats, among others. With various outdoor and winter activities.

Winnipeg Art Gallery

This art gallery houses one of the world's largest collections of contemporary Inuit art, as well as historic & contemporary Canadian art, Canadian decorative art, and works by various 20th-century photographers.
