Shanghai Airport Transfer Information
Taxi, bus and rail transfer information from Pudong International Airport and Hong Qiao International Airport to Shanghai city centre.

Hong Qiao International Airport Transfer
Hong Qiao International Airport is located 18 km southwest of the Shanghai city centre.
Taxi — A taxi rank is located outside the domestic Arrivals area. It is best to have the destination required written in Chinese or indicated on a map. Journey time is about 30 mins and fare is about RMB 120 — RMB 150, depending on destination.
Bus — Buses can be taken from in front of the domestic Arrivals area. Buses leave every half hour and service runs from 6 am to 9 pm. Bus 925 runs to People's Square, Bus 938 runs to Pudong Yangjiadu, Bus 806 runs to Zhong Shan Nan Yi, Bus 807 runs to Shanghai West Railway Station, and airport Bus 1 runs to Shan Xi Lu. Most major hotels run shuttle buses to/from the airport. Fare is up to RMB 25 (depending on destination) and journey time is about 50 mins.
 
Pudong International Airport Transfer
Pudong International Airport is located 30 km southwest of the Shanghai city centre.
Rail — The Maglev Train, a magnetic levitation train and the fastest in the world, connects the airport with metro line no.2 at Longyang station. The station is situated next to the airport and is connected to the terminal by a bridge. Journey time is 10 mins and fare is about RMB 50.
Taxi — A taxi rank is located outside the Arrivals area. It is best to have the destination required written in Chinese or indicated on a map. Journey time is about 30 mins and fare is about RMB 150, depending on destination.
Bus — The bus stand is located outside the Arrivals area. Tickets are sold on the bus. There are five bus routes covering different areas of Shanghai. Airport bus no. 1 connects Pudong International Airport with Hong Qiao International Airport (fare is RMB 40). Airport bus no. 2 runs to Shanghai Exhibition Centre, while the other buses run to Zunyi Road, Dongjiagwan Road and Shanghai Railway Station. It is best to have the destination required written in Chinese or indicated on a map. Buses leave every half hour and service runs from 6 am to 9 pm. Journey time is about 40 mins and fare can be up to RMB 20.
