made Luxor a pilgrimage site for thousands of years and is today they
still considered one of the world's greatest archeological achievements.
With their towering pillars, ornate murals, cryptic hieroglyphics and
countless mysterious statues, the temples really deserves more than a
day to properly explore it. They is especially magical when local actors

Valley Of The Kings & Valley
of the Queens
Located on the West Bank of
the Nile, the limestone cliffs of the region are riddled with caves and
secret tombs, and was once the sacred burial ground of ancient Egypt's
Pharaohs and their Queens, consorts and officials. Though many of the
tombs have been raided and their treasures removed to museums worldwide,
the valley itself is still a popular attraction, where visitors can find
the Tomb of Tutankhamun, Ramses II, and in the nearby Valley of the
Queens, Hatshepsut’s Temple, the mortuary temple for Egypt's only female
Pharaoh.
