Brittany: Things To See & Do
|
Locronan
One of the most
popular attractions in Brittany is this perfectly preserved 15th
century village, which looks like it was plucked out of a fairy
tale. Cobble stoned streets, trickling fountains, cascading
flowers...it's all here.

|
Carnac
Once of Brittany's
most enduring mysteries, the main draw of this attraction is the
sight of thousands of dolmens and giant stones, all lined up in
rows and strange patterns. Built sometime in the prehistoric
era, it is worth a visit to see it yourself, and to ponder its
meaning.

Castles
Brittany has some of
the most charming castles in France, and one of the most popular
ones is the Castle of Dinan, which is located in the heart of
the town (which itself is a charming mix of modern and
medieval). For some more opulent, visit the Chateau at Josselin,
which also has a rather charming dolls museum in the old
stables.
