Brandenburg Gate

Part of a state-back move to preserve Cyprus's traditional folk arts and crafts, this centre

dedicates itself to helping local artisans improve and market their high-quality products.

 


Checkpoint Charlie & The Mauer Museum

During the Cold War, Checkpoint Charlie was the most infamous gate in the Berlin Wall. After the destruction of the Wall, its memory has been kept alive at the Mauer Museum (also known as the Haus Am Checkpoint Charlie), which located near the old border crossing.

Reichstag

The seat of the German Parliament, is one of Berlin's most historical landmarks. The roof terrace

and dome of the Reichstag Building offer an incomparable view of Berlin's parliamentary and government quarter. When Parliament is sitting, the galleries above the plenary chamber are

filled with visitors.

Museum Island

Berlin's world-famous Museum Island lies between the River Spree and Kupfergraben. The Berlin Museumsinsel is a unique ensemble of museum buildings which illustrates the evolution of modern museum design over more than a century. The Museum include the Altes Museum

 


TV Tower

Head on up to the TV Tower in Alexanderplatz. Built as a monument to the East German

Democratic Republic, you get the best view of the entire city from here. It is one of the most

popular motives for photography amongst the Berliners and their guests.

Kurfurstendamm

Tiergarten is the largest park in Berlin, an outdoor oasis for Berliners which is transformed into

a massive barbecue and sunbathing site every summer.

 


Charlottenburg

The largest palace in Berlin, this massive baroque structure holds numerous cultural assets,

not to mention a gorgeous French Baroque style park surrounding the palace itself.
