Frauenkirche
This landmark church was left in
it ruined state after the allied firebombing of Dresden, but it is today
being slowly rebuilt using a combination of medieval and modern
techniques.

Kreuzkirche
Houses a boys’ choir known as the Kreuzchor. The choir performs every Saturday at 5 pm, unless they are on
tour.

Catholic Court Church
Also known as St. Trinitas, this is the largest church in the state of Saxony. The façade
is decorated with 38 biblical and historical figures, while inside is
said to be the tombs of 49 rulers of Saxony.

Grosser Garten
Located to the Southeast of the
Old City, it was laid out in 1676 and includes a botanical and a
zoological park. |

The Albertinum
Formerly an arsenal, this
formidable structure houses decorated chests, ivory and jewels,
porcelain, and a collection of 19th and 20th Century Art.
