is located 10 km south of Hong Kong Island. |

Taxi — Taxi stands are located on the north side of the Ground
Transportation Centre. Separate aisles are designated for different taxis:
Urban taxis (red) serve all destinations throughout Hong Kong including the
airport except Tung Chung Road and roads in south Lantau. New Territories
taxis (green) serve only the New Territories. Lantau taxis (blue) serve all
destinations in Lantau and the airport. Fares range from HK$ 35 to HK$ 375
depending on destination. Taxi passengers using the Lantau Link are required
to pay an additional toll fare of HK$ 30 irrespective of the direction of
travel, and additional fares are also charged for using toll tunnels. |

Bus — There are numerous bus travel options available at the Ground
Transportation Centre. The service is divided between dedicated Airport
buses and the normal commuter buses. Airport buses are designated ‘A’ and
run along 11 different routes to various destinations within the city,
including all major hotels. Fare for these buses run from HK$ 17 to HK$ 40
depending on destination. The normal commuter buses run along 28 different
routes to various destinations. Fare ranges from HK$ 13 to HK$ 18. Tickets
for both types of buses can be bought at the Customer Service Centre or
exact change can be dropped into the fare box on board. Service runs from 5
am to midnight. |

Train — There is a dedicated Airport express train that goes from the Ground
Transportation Centre to Kowloon Station and downtown Hong Kong Station.
Service runs from 5 am to 1:15 am and trains run at 15 min intervals. Single
journey tickets are HK$ 100; return tickets are HK$ 180 and are valid for a
month. Journey time is about 30 mins. There are free Airport Express Hotel
Shuttle Buses as transports for AEL passengers from Hong Kong and Kowloon
Stations to all major hotels. |

Ferry — Ferries can be taken from the Chek Lap Kok Ferry Pier to Lantau and
the New Territories. A shuttle bus is available to transport passengers to
the pier. The ferry to Lantau runs from 5:30 pm to 9 pm, fare is HK$ 38 and
travel time is 50 mins. The ferry to the New Territories runs from 6 am to
11pm, takes 10 mins and is HK$ 15. |
