Jakarta Planetarium

The planetarium acts as Indonesia's main exhibition center for meteorology, physics, space science and astronomy. Equipped with a high-precision telescope, the observatory hosts important gatherings with famous astronomers from time to time.

Seaworld Indonesia

Housing over 5,000 types of tropical species including some 4000 species of fish and 300 species of sharks, this is reputedly the biggest sea aquarium in South-East Asia. The spectacular deep-sea panorama can be seen along an 80-metre long tunnel, with video shows at its in-house theatre and a touchy-feely pool where you can actually touch the marine life placed in the tank.

Ragunan Zoo

This zoo is based on an open-zoo concept, where more than 3000 animals from more than 270 different species reside here, 90% of which can be found in the country.
