Eulsukdo Migratory Bird Sanctuary

This bird sanctuary is a well-known stopover site for many local and exotic bird species. During fall & spring, one can see the snipes and the waterfowls making their stop here, and during the winter season, one can see the ducks and the geese stopping by. Other species that visit this nature site include swans, white-naped cranes, black-faced spponbills and white-tailed eagles.

Beomeosa Temple

Located at the edge of Mt. Geumjeongsan, this temple is set against a breathtaking backdrop of the mountains. Constructed about 1,300 years ago, it was renovated in the early 18th century after the Japanese invasion, and is designed as a natural monument. Best time to visit is in Spring, where the flowering habitat that surrounds it is in full bloom.

Busan Aquarium

Housing over 35,000 species of aquatic animals, this state-of-the-art facility is one of Korea’s top attractions, and has 3 underground levels as well as an outdoor park. The major aquariums can be found on levels 2 & 3, including an 80-metre seabed tunnel on level 3 offering visitors a spectacular view of the marine species on show.

Jan-16 Jul & 25 Aug-Dec: 10am- 7pm weekdays, 9am - 9pm weekends;              Jul-25 Aug: 9 am - 11pm. Open all year round.
