Chamang Waterfalls

Located about a km outside of Bentong town, this is a popular spot for locals on weekends and public holidays, as it has a rather nice recreational area built up around the falls themselves.

Hot Springs

Tucked away out of sight just off the 'old' Bentong road, just 20 minutes out of town, this is a lovely spot to relax and soothe tired muscles. The minerals in the water are said to be excellent for health.

Bukit Tinggi Resort & Colmare Tropicale

A relatively new hill station for those looking for a highland retreat, Bukit Tinggi is quickly becoming popular with locals as a weekend getaway. Nearby is Colmar Tropicale, a replica of a 16th Century French village which is nevertheless rather entertaining, with sidewalk cafes, a clock tower and themed shops.

Sweet Love Cave (Gua Cintamanis)

Despite the inappropriately romantic sounding name, this cave is a popular destination for local cavers. The cave does have bats and (harmless) cave racer snakes, so those not prepared to face creepy-crawlies may be find this a bit of a challenge.
