Jerantut is primarily known as the entryway to Taman Negara, Malaysia's best known forest reserve. 130 million years old, the rainforests of Malaysia are some of the oldest and most biologically diverse in the world, and it is a popular place for such activities as jungle trekking, climbing, rafting and other outdoor adventures.
