International Arts Festival

1 January - 31 August

Over 120 artist taking part, The Arts Festival promises to be a wonderful celebration of both Malaysian and international artists as well as offers a unique program throughout the year.

 

KL GP City Festival

1 - 24 March

Held in conjunction with the Formula 1 Grand Prix, this festival promises plenty of entertainment, motor shows and countless bargains.

 

Petronas Malaysian F1 Grand Prix

21 - 23 March

This is where the action lies - at one of the largest, most high-tech racing tracks in the world, with a fine display of the fast and the furious. An annual fast-paced event that is not to be missed!

 

World Amateur Inter-Team Golf  Championship

24 - 27 March

The 15th Edition of World Amateur Inter-Team Golf Championship (WAITGC) since its inception in 2004. This event will aid in the promotion of Malaysia as a top golfing destination.

 

Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival

5 July - 1 September

Malaysia's annual sales carnival promises plenty of bargains and special discounts on lots of items from designer wear to electrical items to lighten the hearts (and pockets) of shopaholics nationwide.

 

Japan GT

17 - 22 June

Japan's most popular racing series comes to town at Sepang International Circuit - an action-packed, high-profiled event definitely not to be missed!

 

Flora Fest

18 July - 3 August

The city blooms to life with the display of a variety of flowers in different colours and from different species, themed `Colours of Harmony', with the highlight of the event being a Floral Parade held in Putrajaya, as well as bazaars, competitions, exhibitions and other not-to-be-missed activities.

 

KL Samrah Festival  2008

18 July - 9 August

The event showcases Arabian music and concerts over at Bintang Walk to welcome the arrival of Middle Eastern tourists to Malaysia, happening in four weekends and eight nights.

 

Malaysia International Fireworks

15 - 30 August

Watch the sky light up with impressive fireworks displays! The competition features various countries vying to create a grand theatre of pyrotechnics.

 

Merdeka Celebrations

31 August

Malaysians from all over the country get together to celebrate this historic event commemorating the country's 51st foray into the state of independence, marked with a host of activities including parades, exhibitions and fireworks displays.

 

Malaysia International Gourmet Festival

1 - 30 November

The country's premier gastronomic event comes to town with some of Malaysia's finest restaurants offering special promotions and exclusive menus for almost a month.

 

Malaysia Year End Sale Carnival

1 December - 1 January 2009

This sale carnival is a much-awaited event for shopaholics nationwide as big-name stores offer fantastic discounts and bargains.

 

KL International Buskers' Festival

1 - 31 December

Street performers get the recognition they deserve in this nine-day event with a variety of performances all done without prior preparations or rehearsals including acrobats, knife-eating performers, dancers, bands, comedians and jugglers.
