Malacca Transfer Information

Malacca doesn't have its own
international airport, but it is quite near to the Kuala Lumpur
International Airport in Sepang (KLIA), only about 1½ hour's drive. Some
hotels would also provide airport transfer service - please check with
hotels for details. There is a small airport at Batu Berendam, served by
Pelangi Airways which operates a shuttle service to Pekan Baru in Sumatra,
Indonesia. |

Taxi: The taxi
terminal at the KLIA airport would be able to help you with providing
transportation to Malacca. Just ask the counter for rates. Some commercial
taxis at Puduraya in KL are also willing to take you to outstation
destinations, provided it is worth their time & effort; they would usually
fill up the taxi with passengers going to the same destination, but it is
also possible to hire the whole taxi to yourself provided you're willing to
pay more. For more

Bus:
There are plenty of Express Bus Services available at Puduraya Bus Station
in KL to take you to Stesen Sentral (Central Station) in Malacca; the rates
ranging from MYR 7.90 - 8.00 for a one-way trip.
