Scwedagon Pagoda
Visible from all parts of the city, this pagoda is touted to be one of the most magnificent
monuments on earth, housing the relics of the Lord Buddha including eight hairs from his head.
It's stupa is covered with 8,000 solid gold plates and its tips set with diamonds, rubies, sapphires
and topaz, making it the most prominent landmark around.

This park covers 1,650 acres of land including the Hlawga Lake , which is a home for over 70
