Cornwall Park - One Tree Hill
One Tree Hill, which is located in Cornwall Park is the second highest volcanic peak in Auckland, next to Mount Eden, where the top of the hill offers a spectacular view of the city. At the top is
an Obelisk, unveiled in 1940 - the Centennial year of the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi,
and intended as a tribute to the Maori people.

New Zealand National Maritime Museum
This museum pays tribute to the island nation's documenting 1000 years of maritime history.
With almost a millennium of history dated back since the arrival of Maori and European settlers,
to the 2000 America's Cup, the museum's displays also showcases the first freezer ships used
to export farm produce (sheep and dairy products) to Europe, and the invention of the jet boat.
