Gallery Nygaten 7

Maybe the most spectacular gallery in Norway. Breathtaking interior as well as exhibitions. Available for receptions, concerts, seminars and dinners for up to 500 persons. Situated in the center of Bergen, walking distance from the Fish Market.

Bergen Fish Market (Fisketorget i Bergen)

A very popular place with both locals and visitors, this is the place to go if you want to experience normal, every day life in Bergen. Located in the heart of the city, there's everything from fresh-caught fish, flowers, fruit, vegetables, handicrafts and souvenirs.

Bryggen (the waterfront)

One of the most iconic sights in Bergen is the colourful buildings of the waterfront, which date back almost 900 years and are now a UNESCO World Heritage site. The area was once the heart of a thriving international (for the medieval ages) trading city, and even today visitors come to Bergen from around the world, as the city serves as the starting point for many cruise lines to the western fjords.

Fantoft Stave Church

Located at Fantoft, just outside Bergen, this old stave church is an excellent example of the kind of churches that were once commonplace throughout the country. First built in 1150, the current building is actually a reconstruction, as the original centuries old structure was burnt down in a 1992 fire.

Haakon's Hall

Built in the 13th century in the orders of King Haakon, this hall is one of the most important buildings at the Holmen, the residence. Among the many historical events that have taken place here is the wedding and coronation of King Magnus Lagab.
