Changi International Airport is
located 20 km northeast of downtown Singapore. |

Car Upon exiting the airport, take the East Coast Parkway
electronic toll road, which runs straight from the airport to the city
centre. Cash cards for the Electronic Road Pricing System (ERP), which
covers most major highways and the Central Business District to ensure
smooth traffic during peak hours, can be obtained from the car hire
companies at the airport. |

Bus Bus terminals are located in the basements of Terminals 1 and
2. Route information can be obtained from the information counters near the
bus stand. Fare is under S$ 2 please ensure exact fare, as no change is
given. The service runs from 6 am to midnight, and buses leave at 15 min
intervals. A shuttle service direct to most major hotels is also available.
Booking can be made at the counters in the Arrival Halls and fare is paid in
cash to the driver. Service runs from 6 am to midnight and shuttles run at
15 to 30 min intervals. Fare is about S$ 7 and journey time is about 30 mins. |

Taxi Taxi ranks are situated outside the Arrival Halls. Basic fare
is about S$ 16 to S$ 24, not inclusive of applicable surcharges. Please note
that there may also pose a surcharge for travel on the ERP, depending on
time and route. Taxis are available 24 hrs a day. |

Train The Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) train system is available for
cheap, rapid entry to the city. The system covers the entire Singapore
metropolitan area. The MRT station is located in Terminal 2 and is also
accessible via the Skytrain from Terminal 1. Service runs from 5:30am to
11:20 pm. Fare is about S$ 2 (not inclusive of a S$ 1 refundable deposit for
a single trip ticket) and travel time is about 30 mins. |
