Beaches of Plettenberg Bay

Plattenberg Bay is famed in South Africa for its beautiful, wide, golden beaches and the clear waters of the Indian Ocean, making it a perfect retreat for beach lovers.

Whale-watching

Plettenberg Bay is one of the best places in South Africa to see whales, as it lies on the migration path of both the southern right whales and the humpback whales. Whale-watching cruises are popular attractions, and during the off-season, there are dolphin-watching cruises as well.

Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary

This newly opened theme park is the world's first free-roaming primate sanctuary, and is an amazing place to witness monkeys in their natural, free state. This is one of the most popular attractions in the Pletterberg Bay area.
