Cadiz Cathedral (Catedral de Cadiz)
This excellent 18th century baroque
building was designed by the by architect Vicente Acero. The interior of
the cathedral is in a neoclassical style and is dominated by a beautiful
apse.

Cadiz Museum
This museum is a great place to begin
sightseeing in town, and it houses contains one of Spain's most
important Zurbaran collections. The archaeology exhibitions display
Roman; Carthaginian; and Phoenician finds, and ethnology exhibits
include pottery; baskets; textiles; and leather works.

The Admiral's House (Casa del Almirante)
17th century baroque house was built
in 1690 and is a sight that is not to be missed when in town for the
first time. The house is located in a small square in the Populo
Quarter.

La Torre Tavira &
Camera Obscura
It is the highest lookout point in the town
and offers a unique attraction, the Camera Obscura. It also houses
exhibition halls which may be visited on the way up or the way down. The
camera can be seen on a guided tour which runs every half hour and lasts
15 minutes.

Roman Theatre
located at the heart of the city in the
lively barrio del Pópulo. Some of the best preserved sections of the
site are the grandstand and the spectators' gallery, made with the solid
concrete that characterises Roman constructions.
