Part of Spain's traditional Christmas celebrations, the Holy Kings, or Wise Men, parade through the town, usually accompanied by children.

Feast of San Bernabé

11 June

The town's patron saint is honoured with massive celebrations, particularly in June. The festivities include bullfighting, dancing and musical performances.

Fiesta del Cármen

16 July

The patron saint of seamen is celebrated on this day, a reminder of the town's heritage as a fishing centre. The highlight of the day is when the statue of the Virgen del Carmen is paraded around the town.
