Elephant Orphanage
Established
in 1975 by the Sri Lanka Wildlife Department, this 24-acre
land is the home of many orphaned baby elephants in

This museum

Zoological Gardens
Featuring
a fine collection of animals species, the island's fauna
and an huge aquarium housing more than 500 varieties
of aquatic life, this zoo-cum-botanical garden also

a butterfly park and a daily elephant show, for which
it is most famous for.
