Jazz Festival

The country's biggest jazz event sees world renowned jazz and soul artistes stopping by the Skeppsholmen for a few days of heavenly music.

Stockholm Pride

25 July – 3 August

One of Scandinavia's biggest Pride events, the many colourful celebrations take place in the trendy Sodermalm district, and includes exhibitions, cinema showings, parties and a grand parade on Saturday.

Swedish Military Tattoo

13 – 14 September

For those who like military splendour and marching anthems, this is great way to enjoy it: held at the Globe Arena, the tattoo features military bands from all around the world, at their very colourful best.

Nobel Prize Day

Possibly one of the biggest internationally known events in the city, the ceremony held in the Stockholm Concert Hall is the most prestigious event in the scientific word, and a massive media event for everyone else.
