Beaches
There are numerous
beaches within easy reach of Hua Hin town (Hua Hin, Khao Takiab,
Suan Son, Khao Tao and Cha-am, to name a few), each with vendors
and facilities so that guests can swim, sunbathe or surf to
their heart's content in the Gulf of Thailand.

Wat Hua Hin & Wat
Bor Fai
The main temple in
the centre of town, Wat Hua Hin has a large community of monks
resident. Wat Bor Fai outside the town is better known for its
lovely ponds, in which fat catfish wait for their feedings.

Hua Hin Arts and
Crafts Centre
Tucked into a house
over 80 years old is this charming centre, where visitors can
view a collection of artworks from contemporary Thai artists, as
well as exhibitions detailing life in Hua Hin in the past
century.

Hin Lek Fai
Located 3km west of
town, this lookout point offers a lovely panorama of the
surrounding area and is popular with both locals and visitors.
The best time to go is sunup or sundown.

Klai Kangwon Palace
Located north of Hua
Hin, this summer residence of the Royal family was built in 1929
on the orders of Rama VII and consists of three lovely
Spanish-style villas. The palace is open to the public, and is
noted for its lovely gardens and pagodas.

Pala-U Waterfall
Almost 63km outside
of Hua Hin, close to the Burmese border, this spectacular
11-tier waterfall is worth the long drive out of town. There's a
pool for swimming and the surrounding rainforest teems with
wildlife.
