I went to Seremban and visited Choy Kee Food Stall because I have read some raving reviews on it on various websites. However, I found out that the food there is only average and the food prices are very expensive. The place is not an aircon restaurant. There is definite no "value for money" in spite of what the various websites say.

Seafood in Port Vell, Barcelona is really nice and i really love.Besides, you can tour to Portulimpic at night for clubbing. Somehow, barcelon is a good place to have seafood.
- Loh Khai May, Malaysia

Stay away form Trattoria del Ponte Vecchio in Florence. The owner lures you in with a decent menu and then says it is not available.
- Mary de Bernardi, USA

If you're a wine aficionado and are vacationing on the island of oahu, for a wide selection of fine wines & spirits, for the absolute best values in town - you MUST check out TAMURA's in Waialae. Hawaiian music is always playing, and the sales assistants are helpful, knowledgeable, and probably as passionate about wine as you are.
- Mary Delos Santos, USA

If you're visiting Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, do not forget to look for Madam Kwan Restaurant to try its Nasi Lemak and Nasi Bunjari, because the food are not only very tasty but also reasonable priced.
- Adeline Teh, Malaysia

Travel to Hong Kong in March 2005 and stayed at Royal Pacific Plaza, found a Halal cafe for Muslim travellers to Hong Kong " Shadowman Cyber Cafe " No 7 Lock Road, Tsim ShaTsui, Kowloon.
- Ali Abu Bakar, Singapore

Jordan's restaurant - Darling Harbour Sydney is the best Family Seafood Restaurant which has a lot of class and absolutely beautiful meals. A great night for a family outing when visiting Sydney.
- Vanessa Sattler, Australia

When in Barcelona, be sure to try oysters and Cava, the Spanish national champagne. The oysters are delicious and relatively cheap in this part of the world and Cava goes so well with them. Many restaurants have dedicated oyster bars. A feast for a king at a price to suit a pauper! Yummy!

New Orleans, LA - a place to eat.

About twenty minutes from the French quarter (and, about a twenty dollar cab ride - but soooo worth it) is a place called Jacqueimo's.

From the outside, it looks a bit like a dive. But once your name is called, you are led through the bar, through the kitchen (literally), and into one of three dining areas. Each has it's own eclectic design, all paying homage to different areas of New Orleans.

Best appetizers in the world! The Alligator Sausage Cheesecake is to die for! Amazing menu. Great wine list. Fun atmosphere - the chef walks around in a white chef's hat and coat and funky shorts.

Tip: This is definitely a "locals" spot. Lose the camera and fanny pack. Dress casually. Try not to look too shocked when you walk straight through the kitchen to get to your table. Just relax and enjoy it!

Try the pumpkin soup or onion soup at Oriental Hotel outdoor restaurant down by the river in Bangkok. Delicious and not expensive. Together with the drink you get some unusual but very tasty nuts in brown shells. Included in this memorable dinner are four excellent servants. Do feel as a VIP for a couple of hours without spending too much money. Just a warning: do not order wine, which is very expensive and unnecessary when you can have a fresh cool bottle of Singha Beer.
- Anita Hagelin, Sweden

In the Swiss town of Rougemont during Easter weekend, there is a giant Easter Egg Festival. It will not be giant in the quantity of eggs offered, but in the size of the eggs. It is advertised that there will be 20 giant eggs waiting to leap out at unsuspecting children!
- JM, Switzerland

Barcelona is a fabulous city break destination but many first time visitors don't venture far enough from the Ramblas. To find great food and shopping try the developing University area off the Ramblas (along Calle Bon Success, on the left going towards Plaza Catallunya). You'll find quiet pavement cafes away from the traffic, great restaurants (including vegetarian options) and fabby designer boutiques. Great thing is, the cafes are very reasonably priced (it's a student quarter) and the area is very hip and happening. However, when strolling along the Ramblas check out Amaya (on the left going towards the port) - it looks like a bar from the outside but at the back is a restaurant where they serve fantastic food and wine - and it's not expensive. The service is very friendly. For snacks on the run you can't beat the Basque restaurants in the Bario Gotico where they serve pinchos at the bar: slices of crusty bread topped with a variety of fillings - delicious.
- Nadine Kazerounian, UK

Instead of having sugar filled selections in the mini bars perhaps some local fresh fruit and information as where to buy it would be great. Often, when holidaying, people are already eating high fat and high sugar diets. Australia has such a high standard of fresh produce, it seems such a shame to only have nuts, chocolate or chips available.
- C Duniam, Australia

If you like to taste the finest beers outside Chechoslovakia, go no further than the Hofbrauhaus or the Mataser Lowenbraukeller pubs in Munich with their local Blasmusik. Visit the lakes and mountains in the south , Starnberger and Tegensee. Over the last 48 years, I have enjoyed so many holidays in the area.
- Carol Fielding, UK

Most large city department stores in Europe have decent restaurants. The food is usually good and reasonably priced - also a great place to just be part of the local crowd.
- Becky Johnson, USA

Eat at the Summit Restaurant in Sydney's George Street, on the 47th floor of Australia Square. It is a chic revolving restaurant with views of Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. Eat there as the sun goes down over the City, the view is breathtaking. The food is first class and the service impeccable, the ultimate dining experience.
- Lyn, UK

La Parisien Geelong, great food, excellent service, extensive wine list, tremendous outlook over Corio Bay,top spot to spend a long lunch or romantic dinner
- Ray Archibald, Australia

I lived in Florence, Italy for four months and enjoyed eating at some of the many wonderful restaurants there. I found that the most authentic and un-touristy places were located in Oltrarno; the district opposite the Arno from the center of Florence. They have better prices and higher quality. Ristorante di Cambi was one of my favorite rustic Italian family style restaruants serving the best Bisteca alla Fiorentina in town and an impressive wine list. Osteria Santo Spirito, located in Piazza Santo Spirito was another favorite. It is a small and very hip restaurant.
- Marian Mousouris

VENICE, ITALY. LA MODONNA RESTURANT. LOCATED ON A SIDE STREET OFF OF THE REALTO BRIDGE. NO SIGN JUST GREEN LANTERNS TO SHOW THE ENTRANCE. FABULOUS FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE.
- DUANE SZCZECHOWICZ, USA

Our favourite restaurant in Bologna is Al Montegrappa da Nello, Via Monet Grappa 2. The reataurant has 3 seating areas: outdoor, main floor and downstairs. We choose a main floor double table near the glassed-off salad and dessert preparation area. The food was superb with a good variety of selections. We were there twice in three days (it was so good) and met Australian and Dutch customers who equally loved the food and the ambience.
- Stuart Conger, Canada

A visit to Bologna is simply incomplete without dining at this restaurant named "INDIA". Located at Via N.Sauro, it serves mouth watering delicacies from the Indian sub-continient. The curries are simply awesome and the ambience gives the traveller a true sense of Indian culture, which is so vibrant! Though I come from India myself, and have travelled extensively around the globe.... but must tell you this is one of the finest places for Indian food!
- Chandan U. Tahiliani, India

Expensive meals inside Tioman Island? I found a place with Malaysian meals (they’re called mamak stalls), with rice, chicken, etc. A clean small stall. Just walk further down the resort, at the far end where you see some low cost apartments after you’ve past the ponies farm, on the right hand side after the guard house gate. If you intend to stay long, why not opt for a cheaper meal?
