disabled access to all of the Zoo's exhibits and facilities.
Appropriate toilet facilities are available and there are
mobility scooters for hire.

Belfast Botanic Gardens and Palm House
This garden is unique for its cast iron glass house, one of the
earliest examples of its kind in the world. Warm weather plants
such as banana, cash crops such as coffee and intriguing bird of
paradise flowers can be seen in the midst of temperate Belfast.
The outdoor garden features more typical roses and other
temperate climate plants and flowers.

on display. Highlights include the treasure recovered from one
of the ill-fated Spanish Armada ships, the Girona.
