A popular way to get around the more popular tourist aread of Bournemouth is by taking a ride on the well known land train, which runs between Bournemouth and Boscombe Piers and between Bournemouth Pier and Alum Chine. Along the way, there are charming views of the bay, Purbecks and the Isle of Wight.

In this garden mad nation, this particular park is considered especially fine, offering ten acres of wonderfully designed gardens. There are, among other thematically designed areas, a Roman Garden, a Japanese Garden and a Water Garden, as well as the restaurants, cafes and the usual facilities available.
