Gatwick International Airport Transfer Information

Gatwick International airport is located 28 miles north of Brighton.

Car — Upon exiting the airport, turn into the A23 Gatwick-Brighton link road, which connects Gatwick directly to Brighton. Travel time is about 45 mins.

Bus — The Gatwick airport's coach station is on the ground floor of South Terminal; most buses also call at the North Terminal (there is both a monorail and a bus service between the two terminals). There are individual coach service desks in the Arrivals Halls of both South and North Terminals. There is also a ticket desk in the South Terminal coach station. The National Express coaches No. 717 and 797 go directly to the Brighton Pool Valley Coach Station. Travel time is about 45 mins and fare is about GBP 5. Service runs from 4:50 am to 1 am.

Rail — The Gatwick Railway Station directly linked to Gatwick's South Terminal and just a few minutes away from North Terminal via a transit train link. Rail information and ticket desks are located in the arrivals areas of both North Terminal and South Terminal. The Southern, South Central and Thameslink trains run every 15 mins to Brighton as well as other destinations. Journey time is about 30 mins; fare is about GBP 10.
