The Golden Mile
Referring to the stretch of
the Old Town of Edinburgh extending from Edinburgh Castle to the Palace
of Holyroodhouse. Within the old city, you get to see the very old
“high-rise” housing which are some of the oldest in existence and unique
to Edinburgh.

Historic fortress and palace

Palace of Hollyroodhouse — this is the official residence of the Queen
of the United Kingdom in Scotland. Site of a historic murder, the Palace
