Land's End
A bit less than 10 miles
west of Penzance is the most westerly point of the English
mainland. Stop by the Land's End Centre to learn more about the history
of Cornwall and Land's End, or stand on the clifftops and look west
towards the New World. On a clear day, you can see the Isles of Scilly.

St Michael's Mount
The English version of
France's Mont St. Michel, this tiny island off the coast of Cornwall is
topped by a lovely medieval church and castle , which is still home to
the St Aubyn family. Like its counterpart, it is accessible from the
mainland at low tide, and the church holds regular services for
visitors. |
