Honolulu Centennial Family Festival

A week-long festival of cultural events with hula competitions and free exhibitions.

May Day Lei Day Festival

Big Island Film Festival

Held at the Waikoloa Beach Resort, this film festival celebrates the art of story telling through new independent narrative films and their filmmakers, where visitors can watch new movies under the stars and share stories with other visitors.

 

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park's Kilauea Cultural Festival

14 July

This festival provides the unique opportunity to learn about Hawaiian cultures & crafts. The festival is free and will be held at the park's Kahuku Unit.

Learn more about Hawaiian music with slack key guitar, ukulele steel guitar and falsetto in this annual music festival.

 

Aloha Festivals Hawaii

25 August - 30 September

Hawaii's biggest and best festival celebrates its 61st year with activities, parades, exhibitions and giant street parties. It is Hawaii's premier cultural showcase, a celebration of Hawaii's music, dance and history intended to preserve the unique island traditions.

This agricultural event is a fun experience for all, offering fresh local produce, foodstuff, exhibits and carnival rides.
