San Francisco International Airport transfer
San Francisco International Airport is located 25 km north of San Francisco.
Car — The airport is located on the US 101 Highway. Follow the signs to San Francisco as you leave the terminal parking lot. Journey time is around 30 minutes.
Taxi — There are taxi ranks outside each terminal's arrivals area on the lower level. Taxi dispatchers are on hand to ensure a smooth operation. Journey time to downtown San Francisco is around 30 minutes depending on traffic. Fare is about US$ 35 and travel time is about 30 mins.
Bus — The Airporter shuttle bus departs from all terminal every half hour and stops at all major downtown San Francisco hotels. Journey time is about an hour and fare is US$ 13. Local buses can also be taken from in front of the arrival terminal areas. The buses depart every half hour and fare is about US$ 1.50. There are also door-to-door van services available from the departure area. Fare is begins from US$ 15 and depends on destination.
Train — The Bay Area Rapid Transit System (BART) has a station on the Departures level of the International terminal. The train runs to downtown San Francisco and the surrounding area. Trains run every 15 mins on weekdays and every 20 mins on weekends. Journey time is about 25 mins and fare is about US$ 5.
