Chu Chi Tunnels

This maze of tunnels was used by the Viet Cong in the war against the United States.

Measuring little more than 1 meter high and 80 centimeters across, these tunnels were used

as supply routes, kitchens, hospitals and training facilities in the war era.

Most travel companies run day trips to the Cu Chi tunnels and Cao Dai Temple  for USD4 a person.
